About the Author

Ricardo A. Pasquini is an economist and data scientist. He is Associate Professor at the Facultad de Ciencias Empresariales of Universidad Austral and part-time Professor at the Escuela de Gobierno of Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. He is also founder and principal of Beta Sigma, an applied research consultancy.

His research centers on causal inference, applied econometrics, and the economics of digital markets, with recent work on lending mechanisms, security audits in decentralized finance, and decentralized financing models.
